Holy Shit

Look, Afullah has progressed a little. We put it back on the toilet. She hates it! And K. hates it too! She wanted to quit the training and go back to the kitty litter! I want to persevere. She now tries to use it here, but has stage fright. This is a well-placed turd in the middle! Afullah has been doing it on the side, which is NOT desirable!! This is a good sign! In a week or two we will try and have the middle hole open!!

Look how tall our couch is! Maybe the foam will compress a little eventually.

New Couches!

There you go, makes the lounge look a little smaller, but we are comfortable!

And Afullah has a new scratchpad!!!
Speaking of which, the toilet training is going miserable with her. K. is ready to give up! Posted by Picasa

Step number 2

This is step number two for the cat's toilet training! A pretend toilet. It is raised, and a little step up stool to encourage her. The manual tells us to place this device on our one and only toilet in the house... but considering the huge mess Afullah makes .... no way hozee!

Oh shit....

Afullah's toilet training is not going too well. She took a week or two to even consider this thing a kitty-litter. She did not know where to poo/pee. Normally she would go outside for an hour and come home to use the kitty-litter, that is how much she liked her old kitty litter. Now.... Well, look at it. We don't like it.... and no way is this going to sit on our one and only house toilet!! She doesnt like it either. First she's got to learn to use it 'efficiently' without making a mess! This is going to be a challenge for all of us over the next few months! Merry Christmas, ho ho ho. Posted by Picasa

Sheep Dog?

Lately we have a sheep walking on the path behind our house. Mostly it is walked by a couple of people with a dog or two as well.

But yesterday we caught the sheep out alone, so we stopped them for a photo session! And no, the owners are not Tasmanian, they are lovely people origianlly from the NSW North Coast.

Sooo cuuute. Posted by Picasa

Geotagged

This picture was taken on the beach a few days ago when we were out collecting pebbles for our garden. This image has been geotagged in Picasa. Not sure if that carries across to the blog! It is a lovely spot to walk for miles and miles on a pebbly/sandy beach, and see no one. We bring sturdy bags and fill two each with pebbles for our garden. We need to do this regularly as 4 bags does not go far in landscaping! Posted by Picasa
