AGFEST

Glorious Mud

Glorious mud at AGFEST in Carrick. First day they had a deluge, secopnd day they had gale force winds. Most Tasmanians were not bothered at all. Katherine likes the mud too!
My Wife!

Workplace safety standards were represented by accident prone dummies

And old men now use machinery to make hay bales... Where's the fun in that!

Xmas at the Station

The Devonport Station Xmas party was fancy dress! Come as a movie character.
Katherine was inspired by Memoirs of a Geisha, but I am not sure which part she dressed up as!

I dressed up as Stalone in Cliffhanger, and I have no pic of myself yet. This picture was taken after I borrowed Wilma Flintstone's wig!

Welcome Lance

No, this is not a dream. We have a new car!

It is not a Subaru Liberty like we wanted... but we like this Lancer Wagon. Blends in nicely with our backyard...
One thing that is nice is that it just conforms to the following government legislation:

If a vehicle has travelled less than 120,000 kms and is less than 7 years old, the trader must give a written warranty. The warranty period is 3 months or 3,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. Certain vehicles such as four wheel drive vehicles, commercial vehicles and motor cycles are not...

This means we can be assured of a great vehicle! It came from the Mitsubishi Dealers in Launceston... and thus means no unexpected costs for us hopefully. A very sensible but a tad boring choise. Katherine kicked the tyres, checked the kayak gear in the back...

And then took it to work...

Next we need to get our roof rack modified... No kayaking till we get a roof rack on there... Posted by Picasa
